Kulur lumpur, Maylasia - Family trip with a toddler

We rented a suite for a few nights in KL for around £40 per night, a very large 2 bed apartment, complete with brand new appliances, it was spotless! Satellite tv in both rooms, a window with a breathtaking view of the city! We had the executive option, the afternoon tea was exquisite! We ordered room service one evening, Cassius was asleep for the night so I ordered a cocktail...very tasty...and gigantic! The food was very tasty and reasonably priced! As it was nearly the end of our trip there was a fair bit of washing to do (I Hadn't the time in thailand, but usually we got a lot done there for about £1 per kg!) So it was very handy having a state of the art washer dryer in the room!

The first night we went for a late night swim, as we discovered there was a well equipped kids pool with slide, the water and air were both warm, it was strange swimming at 9/10pm, but it sure tired the little chap out! There was also a fantastic kids playroom!

We decided to get a taxi to sunway lagoon on the last day, a giant water park, about 30mins in a taxi, the driver ripped us off by about £5, he had his hat over the meter, it should've been about half the price, we did read about this online, but we let it go on this occasion, a lesson was learned! Sunway lagoon had hosted lots of sporting including MTV world stage, there was also a mini nickelodeon water park inside, it was all very modern and up to date. We spent the whole day in the park, there was a huge water party going on in the main wave pool, everybody was involved, dancing, singing, kids, parents, teens! Great fun!

KL is another place that is great to visit, but a few days is enough, if you plan a few trips and decide what you would like to do before visiting. We had a late afternoon flight home, so had time for lunch and one more afternoon tea. We usually order a taxi to the airport, with KL airport, you need probably over 3hrs at this airport if you'd like a stress free time!
